Facebook’s MetaVerse is an anti-human bore-fest.
Bridge XR was set up to be - and do - the exact opposite. That’s why we created the world’s first IRL x VR ‘HYBRID’ events.
Working in collaboration with audio-visual pioneers, REELIZE Studio, and the revolutionary VR clubbing collective, LONER online, we created a technological template for connecting physical and digital world spaces.
This tech layer - which we call ‘the bridge’ - uses a huge LED screen to create a ‘window’ into a virtual reality space, which is an accurate to the millimetre ‘digital twin’ of a physical environment. A hardware webcam then live streams the real-world to a replica LED screen in VR.
We’re still working through the assets created during the first HYBRID event, and are in the process of planning the second, public-facing event. So watch this space.
