The Marvellous Elephant Man The Musical

After writing 1,738 pre-rolls, I took the obvious next step: a 2 hour musical.
In April 2022, I watched the debut of The Marvellous Elephant Man the Musical at the JazzLab in Melbourne.
While still quite (extremely) rough around the edges, it was still the most heartwarming, hilarious production I’d seen since Book of Mormon.
One thing lead to another. I’m now reworking Elephant Man 2.0 as a Scriptwriter, Marketer and Producer. We’re scheduled to play the Spiegel Tent at the Adelaide Fringe in February and March 2023.
Since April 2022, our goals have grown loftier and the team larger.
Olivier-award winner Guy Masterson has signed up as co-director, alongside entertainment magnate and indie filmmaker Chris Mitchell. They’re joined by our Oscar-winning Sound Editor, Wayne Pashley.
We’ve already booked venues at the 2023 Adelaide and Melbourne Fringe. The dream is to take Elephant Man to the West End. It’s not quite a D&AD Black Pencil, but still - would be nice.
